Varshini stood amidst the lush greenery of her nursery, carefully selecting the rarest orchids for Karthik's upcoming luxury wedding reception. She had been working tirelessly to meet his demands, and the pressure was starting to show. As she wrapped the delicate flowers in tissue paper, Rooh approached her. "V, Karthik is here to see you," Rooh announced, her voice barely above a whisper. Varshini's heart skipped a beat as she smoothed out her kurti and made her way to the entrance. Karthik stood tall, his piercing brown eyes scanning the nursery with an air of approval. "Good morning, Ms. Arora," he said, his deep voice sending shivers down her spine. "I see you're working on the peonies. I must say, they're exquisite."
Varshini smiled, feeling a sense of pride. "Thank you, Mr. Rathore. I've handpicked each one to ensure they meet your standards." Karthik's gaze lingered on her, and for a moment, Varshini felt like he could see right through her. "I have no doubt they'll be perfect," he said finally, his voice dripping with confidence. "Let's discuss the details of the delivery and arrangement."
As they walked through the nursery, Varshini pointed out the different species and explained her vision for the product launch event. Karthik listened intently, his eyes never leaving hers. Varshini felt a flutter in her chest, unsure if it was the business discussion or the way he looked at her that had her heart racing. They approached a particular arrangement, and Varshini suggested, "This would be the best choice for the event." Karthik nodded and said, "I would like to pair these star gazer with white peonies." Varshini's eyes sparkled at the mention of white peonies, and she said, "Great choice, Mr. Rathore."
"Okay, Ms. Varshini, then I'll be back tomorrow to see you I mean to check on the flowers," he said after a moment of stuttering over his words about visiting her. "Sure, Mr. Rathore," she said.
"But you don't have to be here every day." Karthik said, "I need to be here because I require perfection, and I want to ensure everything is done correctly."
As Varshini walked Karthik out, their gaze shifted to a car that had just arrived. When the man emerged, "Vihaan",Varshini exclaimed in shock, "Hey V!" said Vihaan, who hugged her warmly.
Seeing this, Karthik fisted his hand and gritted his teeth. "How are you? And when did you come? Why are you here? Where is Malathi aunty?" Varshini asked. "Breathe, V. Mom is at home, and we're here to pick you and Rooh up. Let's go," Vihaan replied.
Hearing this, Varshini turned towards Karthik and said, "Sorry, Mr. Rathore. I have to go, and we'll meet tomorrow." With that, she went inside to get Rooh. Meanwhile, Vihaan and Karthik stared at each other, their rivalry palpable. "I didn't expect you here," Vihaan said. "Neither did I," Karthik replied, turning to leave.
(Vihaan, CEO of MV enterprises and the only rival of Rathore group of companies he's is rival both in the business world and underworld.)
"Wait, what are you doing with V?" Vihaan asked. "I think it's none of your business, Mr. Vihaan," Karthik said, walking away. As he left, Vihaan mumbled to himself, "Whatever it is, but I hope you're not in love with V, because your heart is going to shatter, Karthik."
When Varshini and Rohini joined Vihaan, the three of them headed home.
